One Mass is NOT Enough for the Holy Souls

Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo, mystic and author of the “Surrender Novena” and the priest St. Pio said to “listen to him” and “I wish I could visit him” writes in his book “The Afterlife”:

“It is not possible for a sick eye to have much light all of a sudden. Instead, slowly and with delicacy, it becomes used to a little light and gradually proceeds from there. With only one Mass, the soul is simply raised up; with another, it starts to change in the light of God’s justice and begins to have the strength to become sorry for its own responsibility. With the third Mass, it starts to break free from the coldness of its own soul, and begins to grow in the love of Jesus… For every Mass celebrated for a souls in Purgatory, the soul feels itself freed from one of its debts, and, little by little, it begins to don its nuptial gown to take part in the eternal banquet of love.“

With this in mind, please consider having the Holy Mass offered for a loved one this November, the month of the Holy Souls, so the Lord can “give to the soul a happiness without shadows, tears, mourning and no regret for the past.” The soul WANTS to be worthy of Jesus and longs to be made clean for God’s holy presence.

Also, you can often pray St. Alphonsus’ “Prayer to Our Suffering Savior for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.” and the prayer given by Jesus himself to St. Gertrude for the release of 1000 Souls (an “incalculable amount”). I’ve made it easy for you with this video.

Singing prayers is one way, maybe even a modern, easy way, to help you and those you love to “seek the Kingdom” at all times throughout the day, especially when you are distracted and find it hard to pray and stay heavenly minded.
